Chapel Window

The old convict chapel on Maria Island has gathered a collection of feathers in one of its windows – from what is probably generations of visitors and families that have visited the island. I love the layers of history of Maria Island.
The best thing about the island was that there was nowhere that you could buy anything (unless you were desperate and went to the rangers). Now there’s one of those ridiculous automatic coffee machines. AND this electricity guzzler is on an island that runs of solar and diesel power generation.
